About Stewart Triathlon Coaching

Stewart Triathlon was founded in 2018 by me Natalie Stewart (nee. Milne). Following a number of years competing on the international triathlon circuit and having completed a Masters in Sports Coaching at Stirling University, I had always wanted to set-up my own coaching business to pass on my love of triathlon and multi-sports to others and help them achieve their goals.

Coaching philosophy – My coaching philosophy is to share my knowledge and experiences in elite level triathlon with the athletes i coach so that they can become the best athlete to their ability.

Elite Triathlon -I have competed at the highest level in triathlon, with the highlight being part of Team Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014, where I was part of the triathlon relay squad. I have also competed for Britain in the ITU World Triathlon Series, ITU World Cup Series and ETU European Cup Series. I represented Britain at the FISU World Universities Triathlon Championships in 2016. Domestically I have been Scottish Sprint Triathlon and Scottish Standard Distance Triathlon Champion on multiple occasions, along with Scottish Aquathlon Champion. Whilst at Stirling University I also won the British University Sprint Triathlon (BUCS) title 2 years in a row. Going a wee bit further back in my career to where it all started i was Scottish Schools Triathlon Champion. Elsewhere I have also scored multiple successes in cycling with podium placings in the Scottish Road Race Championships and the Scottish Cross Country (SXC) mountain-bike series.

Coaching experience- I have been coaching  in triathlon in Scotland for the last 10 years, coaching a wide range of ability and ages. From the very start i have been involved in coaching with triathlon Scotland’s performance squads and im currently head coach for Pentland Junior Triathlon Club.
